Luigi’s Box is a Slovak startup that has been helping other companies improve their e-shops since 2016. It offers analytical tools that make it easier for clients to evaluate searching on their website and help increase sales.Ā Ā 

The default search engines often fail to provide personalised shopping experience. Luigi’s Box offers a number of features that take care of personalization. The system increases the relevance of products that customers see and personalizes them to their needs. It can identify each customer’s interests correctly and suggests the right products to find what they like.Ā Ā 

Then, shopping is an experience for customers and the companies are more successful in sales.Ā Ā

HR in Luigi’s BoxĀ 

Luigi’s employs about 100 people. A year ago, the company was half the size. Since last autumn, the number of employees has doubled. Although the company has grown, according to the HR manager, it has managed to maintain its friendly and human approach. Fluctuation is minimal. Most employees work in remote mode. Only a few of them work in the offices in Prague and Bratislava.Ā Ā 

Lucia TomaÅ”ovičovĆ”, who is the member of the Operations team, is in charge of HR agenda. She has been given responsibility to build the HR department and set individual processes in the growing company. She asked Sloneek for help because her colleagues recommended it.Ā Ā 

ā€œI wanted to keep the things under one roof. I was looking for a tool that will help us bring order to agenda and make work easier and more efficient. Most issues were done through the spreadsheets and we needed to improve the registration of leaves and unify the documentation,ā€ comments Lucia TomaÅ”ovičovĆ”.Ā Ā 

Still in the implementation phaseĀ 

Hiring, among other things, was motivation to acquire Sloneek. Lucia TomaÅ”ovičovĆ” knew that if she wanted to manage it, she needed a tool that would make recruiting new employees easier.Ā Ā 

So, in the first phase, Luigi’s implemented a part of Sloneek to help them with hiring. Only then they started with the employee records and documentation.Ā Ā 

ā€œThe implementation of the individual modules of Sloneek is somewhat ad hoc. It depends on what we have time for and what is the most needed. Now, I’d like to start performance review and electronic signature, so that we don’t have to use another tool, but Sloneek, which will then directly store the signed documents in the employee’s documentation,ā€ explains TomaÅ”ovičovĆ”.Ā Ā 

Sloneek has also been connected with other tools used by the company- Slack and Google. Within the whole process, HR manager is supported by a customer manager and customer support. She appreciates their help.Ā Ā 

Satisfied HR and employeesĀ 

Is Sloneek accepted by the employees? According to HR specialist, yes, positively. Even though they had no previous experience with a similar system, they were excited about the existence of a new tool that would allow them to keep track of leaves.Ā Ā 

ā€œI have some experience with other systems, so at some point I know that something could work better. In general, I’m satisfied with Sloneek. It met my expectations. Each employee has access to their data, the documents and all the records are in one place, it helped us with hiring,ā€ says Lucia TomaÅ”ovičovĆ”.Ā 

In the next few weeks, she’d like to introduce the module with the recording of aids. In the future, she’d like to start using other modules of Sloneek such as performance review.Ā Ā
